🚀Last Sunday, I attended HackPrinceton Spring '24 at Princeton University. Here are the highlights for me: 🌟 💻 Daniel Rajakumar, Bibhu Bhatta, and I created our AI-powered event tool, ExCALibur. ExCALibur is a web platform powered by Perplexity AI and MongoDB that searches the web for events based on a user's availability (gaps in the weekly schedule), interests, budget, location, etc., and picks these that the user might be interested in. Seeing so many people being interested in our idea made us feel like winners. 👥 I also met so many ambitious and talented hackers, such as Kalyanam Dewri, Alys Shah, Tanzir Hasan, Fahad Faruqi, David Mazur, Daniel Zhao, and many others. I really enjoyed talking to all of you and hope to see you at another hackathon soon! 🤝 I also really enjoyed talking to some of the sponsors and organizers, such as Mark Rubin and Advait Maybhate, whose workshops were interesting and insightful. 🌐 Last but not least, I was able to meet the Fantastic 4: The Ryan Edition - Ryan Lay, Ryan Swift, Ryan Lahlou, and Quinn Dines (who technically is not a Ryan but is as fantastic as the Ryans). Not only did we share our interesting backgrounds with each other, but we also discussed the possibility of hosting the first Ramapo Hackathon next Fall. On top of everything else, they let me borrow the best setup ever - a huge MSI monitor with a neat mechanical keyboard, mouse, and headset... Oh, AND AN MSI LAPTOP (which is better than my own laptop XD). How cool is that! Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I hope to meet all these fantastic people (and everyone else I haven't mentioned) soon! #mlh #hackprinceton #hacking
