The #CIWEM mini series is part of a wider campaign to showcase the essential climate and nature work of the water sector. The Ripple Effect: Inspiring A Resilient Environment will feature dynamic content to educate viewers on the importance of adaptation, resilience and responsible stewardship of the planet. Short films, interviews and case studies will form part of the project, with innovators, leaders and collaborators from a range of associated sectors will all feature. RAIN, Reclaim the Rain, Devon County Council/Devon Resilience Innovation Project (#DRIP), Project Groundwater, APEM Group, SRK Consulting, AtkinsRéalis, The Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance, UK Water Industry Research (#UKWIR), and Marshalls PLC have all had input. ‘The Ripple Effect digital series with #CWP underscores the indispensable role of climate resilience in securing our future,’ said Anna Daroy, CEO of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management [CIWEM]. ‘By highlighting the pioneering efforts of those on the front lines, we aim to demonstrate the critical importance of collaboration in protecting our planet’s #ecosystems and ensuring a #sustainable legacy for generations to come.’ Andy Graham, Senior Project Manager of Community Wetlands at WWT, Jim Hall, Professor of Climate and Environmental Risks at the #UniversityofOxford. and Steve Omerod, Deputy Chair of Natural Resources #Wales are also involved.
