There is a growing concern for educational leaders to be transformational in their approach to leadership. This becomes especially important as we navigate the cyber-based digital world. Of significant importance is the new literacy movement, viz: technological literacy, digital literacy and human literacy. The generation we are training now will need to be able to analyse and synthesize big data for various purposes. It is also important that students understand the importance of using knowledge to support machine and technology for a number of activities. Necessarily, educators will have to be trained to undertake this task of training students. This might impact what a teacher training program ultimately looks like in the future. Correspondingly, it might affect future expectations of what an educational leader takes to the table? Certification for all? Maybe. Definitely, it will necessitate some amount of training for educational leaders.

These are fantastic insights. What we are seeing is that, salaries are equally starting to look promising for the people with such skills. In addition to this, there is a shortage of high quality employees with the right skills in these areas.
