📣 Jean Monnet Module "One Health: Global and EU Perspectives" (2024-2027) 🎉 Thrilled to celebrate ONE HEALTH DAY with great news from the School of Law of the University of Salerno! We have been awarded by the European Commission a new EU-cofunded project under the Erasmus+ programme to run the Jean Monnet Module on "One Health: Global and EU Perspectives" (1HEALTH) until October 2027. 🙏 The One Health Module gathers experts of international and EU law, health law, environmental law and administrative law. My deepest gratitude and appreciation go to the excellent team of colleagues involved with me in this new project: Sandro Bonfigli, Emanuele Cesta, Francesco Buonomenna, Daniela Marrani, Pia Acconci, Agostina Latino, Sabrina Tranquilli, Giordana Strazza, Grazia Scocca. 🎯 The 1HEALTH project will offer expert teaching, training and research outputs on the One Health approach and its operationalization at global, European and national levels to tackle complex health threats arising at the human-animal-environmental interface. The focus of the Module will rest on institutional, normative and policy issues and regime interactions. It will explore the European Union's commitment to advance One Health at all levels and its contribution to enhance multisectoral and interinstitutional synergies to improve global health security. Special attention will be paid to legal preparedness related to the implementation of the One Health model at the domestic level and its impact on policy- and decision-making processes. 📌 We are ready to go!
