A few months ago, I decided to start a membership at a gym near my house. I filled out the form on their website, I was quite excited about this palce. But guess what? No one ever contacted me back. Months later, still nothing🤷♀️ What could go wrong? Likely a broken connection between their website, sales system, or CRM. And the result? A lost lead. Ans I see businesses fall into this trap too often. Disconnected tools, misaligned workflows, and siloed data lead to missed opportunities, frustrated prospects, and ultimately, revenue loss. Interesting slide by Daniel Russell at Simplybiz at the #MMInteractive24 event. 12 systems to use is a lot, especially 12 disjointed and, in some cases, antiquated systems. I heard numerous panellists discuss how some of the wealth management platforms/systems were built 20+ years ago, and now are just impossible to integrate and develop. No wonder advisers can only spend 35% of their time with clients... There's a rhythm to business. There are times when our workload is fully booked and we can't even think about onboarding more clients. And there are times when we have more time to work ON our business because less clients signed up. There are times when our pipeline is so full we feel like we're on sales calls all day.
