Just used async in rust for the first time. To run a cli while allowing the next block to run which will handle requests/response, async allows us to sleep the thread while we await the completion of the app. Once running, we remain in the async fn for the life of the program until the user closes while simultaneously have a seperate loop for bi-directional communication. #rust #softwareengineer #c# #backend
