Share your thoughts... That's the line you must have seen while creating a new post on LinkedIn. After a week of close observation, here's what I found out about "thoughts": - People post random and often inappropriate pictures on LinkedIn that have no relation to the written content. - On these posts, random people comment about those pictures (Do I need to even explain the kind of images they comment on?). - Some of the best and most original content creators (you know who) are banned for speaking the peach pits without sugarcoating it. - People with literally 5k+ followers claim they offered 15 LPA to a fresher who actually asked for an unpaid internship. - Some "Talent Acquisition Leaders" receive 290 comments of "I am interested" on their job posts, which look like: - Looking for Freshers to Experienced candidates - ECTC: 5 to 15 LPA - Some #Techgiant is hiring - Workmode: WFH - Qualifications: Any #Graduate I am not sure (I am new here), but are people actually buying followers on social media now? In my last company, I was interviewing candidates for a copywriting position. Here's how most companies exploit freshers: My last company instructed me to hire interns instead of freshers for a position, because we could pay interns a minimal salary. Believe me, the candidates I interviewed were all much more qualified than me. Some of them had master's degrees in English. I told my company that these candidates had very high potential. And they were like, 'We don't care. Just save as much money as possible.' So, ultimately we hired a female candidate with a master's degree as an intern for a salary of 10k. Yes, 10k. And she had to spend 6k per month on traveling. This left me frustrated and demotivated to see how companies take advantage of someone's helplessness. And she had to spend 6k per month on traveling. And that day, I pledged to myself that even if I am hiring any intern, I will make sure they are being paid what they deserve, and not to take advantage of anyone. I receive hundreds of messages saying, 'Ma'am, I am ready to work for free for you. Just train me.' And I am like, No! Sorry, I won't be able to do that. I will pay you what you deserve. So, freshers, leave the place that tries to take advantage of your situation. Because it will not be good for you in the long run, You will always be mentally exhausted. Leave your thoughts here... I see a lot of freshers struggling to get a job. Even if they have qualifications and enthusiasm, they often face challenges in securing a job due to lack of experience and competition in the market. Recruiters should understand that, these freshers might not have any prior work experience but they've the determination and skills. Getting feedback from recruiters is very important when you don't get the jobs or repeated face rejections.
