#Violence against women and girls manifests in various forms, including domestic abuse, sexual harassment, and harmful cultural practices, stripping them of their dignity, rights, and opportunities. Ending this injustice demands collective action. We must push for stronger legislation, offer comprehensive support to survivors, educate communities, and challenge the societal norms that perpetuate such abuse. #16Days

We recognize that addressing gender-based violence requires collective effort. It's a human issue. As Legal Counsel Graduate, Adv. Providence Simbila, reminds us: "Real progress requires collective effort. Sexual harassment isn’t just a women’s issue, it’s a human issue." Together, we have the power to create safer, more inclusive spaces for everyone. What steps can we take as individuals and organizations to drive meaningful change? #notoviolence #16daysofactivism

There is no time like the present to reflect on the movements that have long advocated for better and more just workplaces for us all. We all deserve to be able to work with dignity and free from the threat of sexual violence, including sexual harassment. Survivors must lead and be at the center of the movement for change. We must be able to build power collectively and advocate for what is best for us and our loved ones. This #LaborDay, we are committed to amplifying the voices of survivors, ensuring that our experiences and perspectives are centered in ALL decision-making that affects us. #survivorsvote #survivorsagenda Reposted @survivorsagenda

Let’s stop using language that blames victims, objectifies women, and normalizes sexual harassment. Every time a woman bravely speaks up about her experience of sexual violence, and is not believed, the cycle of abuse continues. When you hear a survivor’s story: 1-Listen with empathy. 2-Believe their truth. 3- Offer your support. Together, we can break this cycle. #16DaysOfActivism2024
