Do you have the "Right People" in the "Right Seat"? This is a difficult question but for any organization to be successful, you have locate, onboard, and keep people that align with your culture and help you move your organization forward. This video is a great reminder to spend time leading your people and not just managing them. At the ENRG - EOS Networking Resource Group meeting yesterday at the Innovation Portal, we discussed just that. You have to not only locate and onboard, but in order to keep, you must engage with your team regularly. This includes quarterly conversations that allow you to provide direct feedback to your team members, but also for them to provide direct feedback to you. Without that two way communication, you become a manager rather than a leader. Leaders can inspire and grow people, managers fill a void for effective leadership. Would you like to collaborate monthly with other companies building or running EOS in their businesses? ENRG is a group of business leaders providing a framework to learn and thrive in the implementation and ongoing execution of EOS. We are made up of Visionaries, Integrators, and other business leaders from many successful local organizations in Mobile and Baldwin Counties that meet regularly for a 90-minute meeting to discuss issues and solve issues in our businesses as well as cover an EOS Toolbox item each month. Think of it as like a mini revival for EOS each month much like the EOS Worldwide annual meeting. Right People Right Seat You gotta have both! Challenge: do you have both in your company? If not, what do you want to do about it? Consider this: Right People means they fit your core values!
