The VAC-S18U is a 1x8 HDCP 2.2 compliant distribution amplifier for HDMI signals at resolutions up to 4K@60 (4:4:4). OUT1 includes a down converter that enables 4K input video signals to be converted automatically to 1080p if the sink device does not support 4K. It also features audio de-embed function. Output signal can be set to muted (black screen) or disabled for each channel separately. MaxxAudio(in nuvoton) is the best I've used at the single-chip level for bass boost listening experience. TI,ADI, Cirrus Logic, and DTS really fall short when it comes to low-frequency performance. Especially in specifications below 5W speakers. However, the high-frequency details of MaxxAudio are relatively lacking. It's a minor flaw. #MaxxAudio

💡 What do you think of this Mu amplifier? ⚡ The gain of this audio amplifier, known as the Mu or µ amplifier is a function of the forward transconductance and the output conductance of the JFETs used. The higher the forward transconductance and lower the output conductance, the higher the voltage gain. Lower output conductance is a function of the gate-to-source biasing. Biasing near zero volts produces the highest conductance and near the Vgs(off) specification the lowest conductance.
