Girlguiding’s Post

We’ve teamed up with Google to launch new AI activities and a new fun Google badge, designed to help more girls gain new skills in the digital world. Over half (52%) of girls and young women aged 11 to 21 say they think STEM subjects are seen more for boys.' (GAS 2021) Our new activities give girls an age-appropriate introduction to the technology, helping them understand AI and explore it safely. To celebrate the launch, our members Frankie, Ella and Jessie visited Google HQ to explore AI and tech 🌟 They toured the Google offices, explored the Accessibility Discovery Centre and tested out AI-powered tools like Google Lookout and Guided Frame. They also played modified games at the ADC arcade and spoke to Google’s engineers about the new activities.
