🌐🎵After attending the webinar of music industry experience sharing, there are few outcomes I've got: 1. If you are living out of the central city of music industry, that's totally fine. 🏙️ Nowadays internet has been helping us break through the boundary of reaching worldwide resources. Musicians could have access on using all kinds of resources to make, distribute, and promote their music through different platform. Try to find more resources via internet as much as possible if you are not able to relocate in cities like LA, NY, Atlanta or Nashville. Things might be hard at the beginning, but musicians, you have to trust yourself that it's always the best time to accumulate experiences during the start up stage of your career. 2. NETWORK, NETWORK, NETWORK!!👥 Music industry is much smaller than you thought. Show up in various events, ask and talk to people to find if there's any chance to know & learn more about the industry through conversation. A new connection can either introduce you to a new idea or to another person that can help you get what you are look for, but, BE SINCERE. Today you might meet someone who is an intern but after 3 or 4 years that person you meet on the event might become the manager or CEO of the company. 3. Never stop studying.📖 Through consistent study could not only help you learn something new but also give you the idea of not staying in your comfort zone all the time. Studying is also part of the resources accumulation in your career path. Sufficient knowledges is like a package of back-up battery, you never know when you'll need it, but it provides you confidence to respond to a challenge and acclimatize yourself in the fast-paced industry. #musicindustry

Excited to share my internship project on Generative Al is "Music Generation". This project is done by using hugging face.co/ Facebook in that we have to select "Music Gen". Music generation using Hugging Face involves using their tools and models to create new music or musical elements. This can be achieved by leveraging models trained on musical data, which can generate melodies, harmonies, or even full compositions. Hugging Face provides access to various pre-trained models and frameworks that facilitate music generation tasks. Here's an overview of the process: ->Select a Model: Choose a pre-trained music generation model available on the Hugging Face platform, such as Music Gen. ->Input Specifications: Provide the model with specific inputs or parameters, such as a Classic music. ->Generate Music: Use the model to generate music based on the input specifications. The model will produce musical outputs that can range from short sequences to complete pieces. #HuggingFace #MusicGeneration #AIMERSociety

🎶 Stepping into The Great Escape music festival and conference in Brighton felt like entering a realm where the pulse of the music industry beat strongest. For the second year in a row, I found myself immersed in a whirlwind of talent, connections, and invaluable insights. As I wandered through the vibrant crowds, I couldn't help but marvel at the diverse tapestry of individuals shaping the future of music. From talent managers meticulously sculpting careers to agents and A&R professionals scouting for the next big thing, each encounter was a glimpse into the intricate workings of an ever-evolving industry. But it wasn't just about rubbing shoulders with industry titans; it was about discovering the raw, unfiltered talent simmering beneath the surface. Amidst the sea of aspiring artists, I found myself drawn to those whose voices rang with authenticity and promise, a reminder that greatness often begins in the shadows before stepping into the spotlight. One of the highlights of my experience was attending exclusive brunches hosted by Vevo, Apple Music, and Live Nation. In those intimate settings, surrounded by top-tier professionals, I gleaned invaluable lessons and forged connections that transcended mere business transactions. Through it all, one lesson resonated loud and clear: the importance of catching talent early and nurturing relationships with those who shape their trajectories. In an industry where success hinges on timing and connections, being in the right circles can make all the difference. So, to fellow music enthusiasts and industry hopefuls, I offer this recommendation: immerse yourself in opportunities like The Great Escape. Seek out the hidden gems, network with peers on your level, and build relationships with the unsung heroes behind the scenes. From my experience, I've learned that success isn't just about talent; it's about timing, perseverance, and the willingness to seize every opportunity that comes your way. Until next time, let's continue to celebrate and support emerging talent together! 🌟 #TheGreatEscape #MusicIndustry #Networking #EmergingTalent

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 🌊 When I think of spring break in the US, the first picture that comes to mind is people partying on a beach 🏖️. Instead of doing so, I decided to spend my week in Austin, to explore the city and visit the South by Southwest 🎸📽️. Here's why it was the best decision I could have made: Going solo pushed me out of my comfort zone, allowing me to meet new people 🤝 and absorbing new inspiring input 🧠. SXSW isn't just an event, it’s a melting pot of ideas across tech & business 💼, as well as film & music 🎶. I am glad that I dared to take the step and being able to experience transforming my spring break into an unforgettable experience 🌟. In my next posts, I want to share some inputs and inspiring thoughts I got during SXSW 📚💡. Yesterday I had the incredible opportunity of being able to attend Music Forward Foundation's All Access Festival! The event was a fantastic experience where I got to hear from a diverse group of professionals in the music and live entertainment industry. As a recent graduate trying to kickstart my career, listening to how these experts navigated their journeys—from where they started to where they are now—filled me with hope and excitement. It reminded me that this is just the beginning, and there's so much to look forward to! Out of the many things I was able to learn, there were THREE things that really stuck out to me: 1. Don't be afraid of the word no. To a lot of people, someone saying "no" can be one of the scariest words out there since that means rejection. Rejection is okay! This fear of receiving a "no" can make you not want to try at all, and many people don't. This in turn creates many missed opportunities just because we are afraid that we won't receive a yes. A "no" does not mean "never" and something that we can take from that "no" is to move on and move forward since it gives us room to grow and learn. 2. Get out and get in there! This also ties into that aspect of not trying to fear rejection. Put yourself out there and just be your authentic self! Go to networking events, find different volunteer opportunities, and try to create more than surface level connections with people. I know this is easier said than done, but introducing yourself to a new connection or expressing interest on how someone got to where they were is a greater start than never reaching out all. Be the first to send that message, and if there is no response, you at least know that you did all that you can from your end. There's no harm in trying! 3. Ask the hard questions. It's easy to shy away from asking questions that may feel intimidating or uncomfortable, but those are often the ones that lead to the most growth. Whether it's seeking feedback on your performance, asking about opportunities for advancement, or diving deeper into someone's career journey, asking difficult or thought provoking questions shows curiosity and initiative. It also opens doors to valuable conversations and insights that you might not have gained otherwise. Remember, the more you ask, the more you learn, and the more prepared you are to navigate the path ahead! A tremendous thank you to Nurit Siegel Smith for opening and closing the festival. Music Forward Foundation’s mission to transform young lives and champion a more inclusive industry aligns perfectly with my own journey. As someone eager to break into the music and live entertainment industry, I feel more motivated than ever after attending All Access Fest. The insights I received not only helped me see new possibilities, but also reinforced the belief that my perspective has a place in this space. I’m excited to continue learning and contributing to an industry that thrives on creativity, diversity, and connection.
