Aspire Chicago isn’t just an organization—it’s a lifeline for reimagining what’s possible for people with disabilities. Your support this Giving Tuesday could make all the difference. Let me tell you more about my son, Connor- he’s my inspiration. Connor wakes up daily to challenges that most of us can’t imagine. And he meets them with resilience, grace, and a sense of determination that floors me. He’s taught me that potential is limitless when given the right opportunities—and that’s precisely what Aspire Chicago delivers. Aspire Chicago doesn’t just create programs; it creates futures. It doesn’t just talk about inclusion; it builds it. When I think of Connor, I think of every parent's dream: for their child to belong, thrive, and feel seen. Aspire Chicago makes those dreams possible for countless families like mine. Here’s what I’m asking: please consider a gift today using this link ---- https://lnkd.in/gziy5Gpz Connor deserves it, and every family deserves it. When we back organizations like Aspire Chicago, we’re building a better future for all of us. Thank you for stepping up. Let’s make this Giving Tuesday count. #GivingTuesday #AutismAcceptance #InclusionMatters

Real change starts at the local level. Hyperlocal giving allows us to invest directly in community-led initiatives that address racial equity and the systemic challenges many neighborhoods face. By supporting organizations rooted in the communities they serve, we empower those who are closest to the issues and equipped with the knowledge to drive sustainable solutions. These hyperlocal efforts are essential to addressing disparities in economic opportunities and justice—particularly in areas heavily impacted by mass incarceration. By focusing on specific community needs, we can create pathways to equity and long-term change. Visit the PWF Grants page to learn more about our nonprofit partners. Explore their work, visit their websites, and consider giving directly to support their efforts in building stronger, more equitable communities. https://lnkd.in/g5eZnehv #HyperlocalGiving

As you go about your planning for the next holiday, no matter what you celebrate, remember it is also a time for giving. I know many people need help all year and especially this time of year. Here are a couple of reasons Girls on the Run is a great place to send some of your donation dollars: 1. GOTR curriculum is researched and tested to make an impact. The US Surgeon General even promoted it as one effective program that helps youth get activity and support mental health that he believes is critical in our society today. 2. Data indicates that girls are struggling with mental health challenges at a higher rate than boys. Girls and boys both indicated the things they worry about are doing good in school and performing well on their teams, but girls also said they worry about world events, appearance, and feeling like they belong; when boys didn't indicate these same concerns. 3. Investing in Girls on the Run is investing in a girl's future. The program has proven to make an impact on girls well into high school and beyond. Girls who participated started new clubs, led community service projects in their communities, and well-exceeded all of our expectations. GOTR is makes a lasting impact. Join me in supporting Girls on the Run today!

What Does It Really Take to Build an Inclusive Future? A mother once traveled for hours just to get care for her child with cerebral palsy. She told me, “He just wants to feel like other kids.” That moment hit me hard. Inclusion isn’t about charity, it’s about dignity. It’s about building systems that make sure no one is left behind, no matter where they come from or the challenges they face. Through my work, I’ve seen small actions like training healthcare professionals or providing a wheelchair, create life-changing ripples. But there’s so much more to do. What do you think it will take to build a world where every child, regardless of ability, gets a fair chance? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s start a conversation that leads to real change. #Inclusion #Leadership #Social Impact
