🚀 Excited to share an update on our progress in the Carbon4Minerals project! 🚀 At VITO, we are developing an innovative solid sorbent-based technology for post-combustion carbon capture, aiming to decarbonize industries that are challenging to fully electrify or burdened with inherent CO2 emissions. With a modular design, our system is flexible and capable of handling emissions containing dust, impurities, and water. Recently, I had the opportunity to present our progress during the consortium meeting at Vandersanden 🧱. The great news? We're still ahead of schedule and gearing up for first demonstrations, moving steadily toward industrial deployment! 🌍 Stay tuned as we continue paving the way for CCS and CCU solutions - we're already halfway there!
