I've just dropped a UI Enhancement to help visualise player performance in my Scouting Application.
Intuitive "percentile rings" that make strengths and weaknesses immediately apparent are now shown within the advanced search results.
📊 Why Percentile Rings?
Data is only as good as its interpretation. I wanted a clear, visual way to communicate complex percentile data that could be understood at a glance
🎨 Color-Coded Insights
Green to Red Spectrum: Quick identification of high (🟢) to low (🔴) performance metrics.
Completeness of the Ring: Shows how close a player is to the 100th percentile within their specific role.
🔍 Enhanced Decision-Making
These indicators help users make more informed decisions by instantly highlighting areas of excellence and potential improvement.
In this example I've a focused on a specific profile:
Position: Full-Back
Preferred Foot: Right
Age: Under 22
Key Metric: Ranking in the top 30% for 1-v-1 Defending amongst league Full-Backs.
I'm excited about this feature because it enhances the user experience and brings actionable insights to the forefront.
What are your thoughts? Is this a lot to take in, or do you agree that the more detailed the data, the better the insight?

Optimizing Game with Data: My Jorney in A/B Testing for Monetization and Engagement.
In the fast-moving world of game development, player preferences are as volatile as trending designs. To stay ahead, data-driven decisions have to be made. That is where A/B testing, as a systematic methodology of experimentation, becomes a developer’s best friend. It will allow them to measure the impact of subtle design changes on player behavior and help tease out what works and what doesn’t
Probably the most challenging part of game design is to balance engagement with monetization. Press too hard on monetization, and the players may grow to hate it. Stay completely focused on engagement, and you might not make enough money to continue with the game. This sweet spot lies in an accurate calibration of these elements-a balance that drives player retention and makes sure the game is financially viable.
This project explores how a new game design might optimize this balance. By comparing control and test groups through a well-structured A/B test, I demonstrated how found actionable insights that help game developers and stakeholders make smarter, data-backed decisions. Let’s dive into how this experiment unfolded!
The genesis of my journey A/B testing is the foundation upon which the entire problem-solving process is pivotal. Game designers must delicately balance engagement and monetization. Players immerse themselves in games for enjoyment, challenge, or relaxation, but excessive monetization elements — like frequent purchase prompts or paywalls — can quickly sour the experience. On the other hand, too little monetization means the game might not generate enough revenue to sustain development, future content, and financial health.
This creates a fundamental challenge: how can we design game mechanics that maintain or enhance player engagement while subtly encouraging spending?
People overcomplicate game analytics, and A/B testing. Listen, if you’re developing a game:
Avoid:
❗ Re-inventing your own metrics,
❗ Waste time on unnecessary tools,
❗ Listen to your gut feelings,
❗ Early monetization strategy.
Instead:
✅ Use an easy integrated tool,
✅ Rely on analytical reports,
✅ Run effective A/B testing,
✅ Scan actionable insights,
✅ Listen to what your players have to say.
--> By following their footsteps. 👣

Build from there.
Success is...
inevitable.
Use analytics in your favor, not against!
Agree?
Cheers!
