This new toolkit from Glasgow City Region, which we are supporting, will ensure that capital infrastructure decisions focus on benefiting communities, including reducing health inequalities - providing important insights for local areas across the UK ⬇️
Today, we’re delighted to be launching an innovative new tool to help embed health and equity in decision-making on capital projects. The CHIA (Capital Investment Health Impact Assessment) resources include a set of online resources and a project account and collaboration space, which will help project teams to embed health and equity in capital infrastructure decision-making. The project was supported by £347,000 of funding from the Health Foundation’s Economies for Healthier Lives funding programme. The CHIA resources will be used on capital infrastructure projects across the Region, including being piloted on the Region’s Clyde Metro project.
