Day 1 at Insigh's Forum is a wrap No doubt it has become the flagship event to kick-off Singapore's #fintechweek, making the Merlion City the capital of the global financial services ecosystem! While the full spectrum of #deeptech is still present (yes, including #web3, #crypto and event the #metaverse), the event has clearly taken an even more institutional direction fostering an intense dialogue among delegates and policy makers, highlighting Singapore's status as a leadiing global finance hub in Asia. HKMA announces Stablecoins Issure first batch Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has announced the first participants of stablecoins issure Sandbox: ✅ JINGDONG Coinlink Technology Hong Kong Limited. ✅ RD InnoTech Limited. ✅ Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, Animoca Brands Limited, Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited. During the assessment process, these institutions were able to demonstrate genuine interest in developing a Stablecoins issuance business in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 with reasonable business plan, and their proposed operations under the Sandbox agreement would conducted within a limited scope and in a risk-controlable manner. #fintech #stablecoins #hongkong Source: HKMA.
