Captive Intelligence’s Post

We welcomed Stephen Cross, Group COO of McGill and Partners, onto the Global Captive Podcast this week to discuss his long association with captives, McGill's presence in the sector, particularly reinsurance broking for large and complex accounts, and to debate the broker-owned versus independent captive manager model. Stephen also shared with Richard his views on captive governance and the need for sophisticated captives to get more value from their boards and independent directors. “If you want to really think about growing the captive and thinking about risk as you should think about risk today, because it is very much a board topic, I think you need to bring in people that are a bit more qualified to think in that regard, and there’s a cost associated with that. But to me, everything is a cost versus return.” Listen to the full exclusive podcast interview with Stephen Cross on the below platforms or any podcast app: Captive Intelligence: https://lnkd.in/dTfewmwn Spotify: https://lnkd.in/d-C62NWU Apple Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/dxqCJqtN #captiveinsurance #captiveintelligence https://lnkd.in/dbRjx5E6
