As one of our 2024 #KAICIIDFellows and a migrant in #Portugal, Afsana Jiwani launched Migrants Matter, an encounter platform where, through #TransformativeDialogue sessions, migrants from #India, #Pakistan, #Germany, #Russia, the #USA, and #Angola shared their journeys, explored common struggles, and built collaborative networks. Through this KAICIID-supported initiative, participants forged networks with NGOs and local policymakers, initiating advocacy in #healthcare, #education, and #employment to improve the integration of migrants in #Europe.
