The Zasavje Just Transition Center, in partnership with Circular Change, held the first workshop of the Zasavje Circular Economy Academy, titled "Circular Economy – Circular Economy as the Bond of Community and Regional Competitiveness." The workshop primarily aimed to explore how the circular economy can enhance regional resilience, competitiveness, and quality of life. Participants examined the potential of Zasavje and how organizations and businesses can better incorporate circular principles into their practices. Seventeen representatives from various sectors of the Zasavje region attended the workshop. By the end of the session, they had outlined drafts of circular project proposals for different sectors, which they will further develop into concrete project proposals for the circular transformation of Zasavje. #RRAZasavje #JustTransition #CircularEconomy
