Every little bit of our world needs a formal and legislated purpose. The aggregate of this purpose when the whole planet is included, should meet all the goals set by people, via decision-makers of society. Global agreements are needed for global commons, and so on. With knowledge, better models, and margins (the difficult part), a sufficiently good resilience for ecosystems can be maintained, etcetera. In the link below, Daniel Schmachtenberger and Liv Boeree talk about AI, misalignment & Moloch | Win-Win, where AI of today follows selective guidelines (misalignment), which derails the world through, among other things, externalization and Jevons paradox. What I would like to believe is that states, including formal sectors, can have their own generative AI, guided by principles from the constitution about the equal value of all people, democracy, and sustainability. This type of AI may have the right conditions to do the job of modeling how seas and land should be managed, both in Sweden and the rest of the world.
