The future of global hiring is not in India or the Philippines. It's in Africa. When people think of countries where they can hire non-domestic talent, they typically think of India or the Philippines as the top choices. There are absolutely great people living and working in those countries, but they are very saturated and congested markets for talent. Very few are looking at Africa. Those that are have a significant competitive advantage. The talent in Africa has: 1. An abundance of STEM degrees 2. Strong English capabilities 3. High-speed internet 4. High motivation and dedication, plus they are not entitled ;) Africa has flown under the radar as a location for global talent resources, and you're missing out on early access to globally remote talent if you fail to recognize this. The sleeping giant is awake and thriving.
