✨ Glisten: GMVA’s WINter Wonderland Year-End Celebration ❄️ This year, we came together under the shimmering theme of Glisten to celebrate the heart and soul of our company—our incredible team of Medical Virtual Assistants. Our annual year-end party, held in the Philippines, was a night to remember, dedicated to recognizing the hard work, dedication, and compassion that our team pours into their roles every single day. The atmosphere was filled with joy, gratitude, and camaraderie. The Winter Wonderland theme set the perfect backdrop for an evening of magic, where achievements were celebrated, awards were given, and every single individual was honored for their tireless efforts. At Global Medical Virtual Assistants, we know the difference our team makes. They change lives. They care for patients. They embody compassion, professionalism, and excellence. Glisten wasn’t just a party—it was a heartfelt thank-you to a team that has made every challenge worth overcoming and every goal worth striving for. Thank you to every member of our GMVA family for making this year unforgettable. Your commitment to care and excellence inspires us all. Together, we shine. ✨

Small, yet mighty - Captain Arlo teaches us that it is not your size that matters, it's all about diligence and passion. So how do we maintain a small yet mighty approach? Comprised of 24 locations, we are the "Goldilocks" of size: large enough to offer great perks, yet not so big we lose that valuable human connection. Here is a peak into being part of Valley: - Unlimited PTO for DVMs (Really, it truly is unlimited!) - Yearly, all expenses paid, retreats for DVMs and a guest to places like Cancun, Cabo, and Breckenridge - REAL growth opportunities for technicians, assistants, and CSRs - Collaborative and positive support for Managers and Medical Directors - Excellent CE allowances and opportunities - Direct line of communication to the senior leadership team, if you have a need, it becomes our priority to address it - Retention rates well above industry average, this means continuity of care for your patients, and peace of mind for you - Spa days and dinner, just to say thank you - Individualized, competitive, employment offers that actually fit your needs - Real human connection, our CEO and VP team know each of our doctors and managers, forming personalized relationships to support their professional goals. Come find out what makes us like the small and mighty Captain Arlo for yourself (fair warning, we can't pull off a life vest quite as well).

Name a better team than ours at Regard! Curious about Regard or interested in a demo of our Clinical Insights Platform? Swing by our booth (#4116) under the AI Pavilion at HLTH so we can chat. #HLTHUSA #HealthcareInnovation #ClinicalInsights
Heading into the weekend before HLTH USA looks like.... Just kidding! Our team came together for our annual Regard Retreat in September to bond, recharge, and try to make a boat out of cardboard boxes. You had to be there. 😆 But seriously...HLTH is next week, and we hope to see you in Las Vegas (booth 4116)!

The day before the SEIA Board arrived in town for our Q2 Board meeting and the Golden Gala, I took an 11-hour round-trip road trip to New York City, arriving back at 1:30 am. Why would I do that? Because despite the busyness of my life and the importance of that week, I have learned, often the hard way, that skipping important personal events creates regrets that can’t be overcome by ensuring that the work gets done. And that week was a prime example. A very close friend suffered the death of her brother (he was ten years old), and she and her family were heartbroken. The little boy’s memorial service was at 6 pm in NYC on Monday night. So, I got in the car with my supportive partner and drove to New York City. Because that’s where I needed to be from 6 – 9 pm that evening. And then we drive back home. And then I woke up on Tuesday (with very little sleep), went into the office, met with some of my Executive Committee members, chaired the SI2 board meeting, greeted the high school winner of the SI2 essay contest (I cried – wonder why?), and hosted the Solar Energy Industries Association Board for dinner. Was I tired? Absolutely. Did I want more sleep? No doubt. Would I have changed my decisions? Nope. Cause that’s what I have learned to do. Show up in the spaces I need to show up in. The growth for me over my career is that I now understand that showing up for my personal priorities is just as important, if not more, than showing up for my professional priorities. Like you, maybe I have missed more than one recital, school event, or sports game with my children. But when the critical things happen to family and friends – the graduations, the awards ceremony, the doctors’ appointments, the funerals – I go. Even if it means I am extra tired. Or a missed work event. Or I have to work extra to make up the time. I have missed both weddings and funerals because work was too pressing. And I have deeply regretted some of those decisions. And I have evolved. So, what about you? How do you prioritize these many demands on your time? What have you learned? I need to hear it.
