It’s been two weeks . . . Since we received the exciting news that we were selected for Smart India Hackathon 2024 💥—and it still feels surreal 😂 (even now, as we prepare to make our mark)! Like everyone else, we submitted our proposal with a blend of hope and nerves. But when I saw the word “Selected,” I had to do a double take. Was this a dream? No, it’s real—and it’s an honor!😌🥳 While we are indeed striving for the best, I keep telling myself that this experience is about much more—new insights, pushing our boundaries, and building meaningful connections with passion-driven individuals. ????🌱✨ As the saying goes, “The path you walk teaches you more than the destination". NHCE Hosts Virtual Interaction with PM Modi at the Smart India Hackathon 2024! We are immensely proud to share a momentous occasion for New Horizon College of Engineering as we hosted a virtual interaction with Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Smart India Hackathon. This inspiring event showcased the true essence of innovation, collaboration, and commitment to creating a sustainable future for the country. During the interaction, Team Nirvana1 from The LNM Institute of Information Technology Institute of Information Technology presented their impactful project on the Namami Gange initiative, which aims to combine technology and innovation to address one of India’s most pressing environmental challenges. Team Nirvana1 led by Dev Soni and comprising Sanidhya Manglunia, Asher Ejaz, Naman Jain, Aditya Chaudhary, and Tanvi Bansal was also announced as joint winners for the Namami Gange’s Problem Statement.  Our students had the invaluable opportunity to witness this exchange of ideas and insights, reinforcing the importance of technological advancements in solving real-world problems. At NHCE, we remain committed to nurturing young innovators who will lead the way in driving meaningful change across various domains. This occasion not only emphasizes our institution’s role in supporting national initiatives but also serves as a testament to the vibrant ecosystem we have built at NHCE for innovation, research, and development. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧? 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐥! 🔥 Life is full of choices, and sometimes, the toughest ones shape us the most. Recently, 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐄. But guess what? I chose to feel that electric pulse one last time—the unmatchable rush of being a 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭. As a die-hard fan of 𝐌𝐒 𝐃𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐢, I’ve always wondered: why does he still play cricket when every franchise would break the bank to have him as a mentor or coach? The answer hit me—there’s no thrill like being in the game. That fiery adrenaline, the unrelenting drive to refine yourself at every pit stop, and the burning desire to come back with a bang. And so, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 our victory in SIH 2022, I’m stepping back into the arena! This time, my incredible team, 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲, and I are ready to battle it out at the Smart India Hackathon 2024 Grand Finale, happening in none other than the City of Battle—Panipat! 🌟 SIH isn’t just a competition; it’s a revolution. It challenges minds, fuels creativity, and pushes boundaries.
