A quick summary of what I have learned after a few months in #SanFrancisco One thing first: it's truly living up to its reputation as THE place for startups, innovation and "the future". It feels like Disney land for grown ups and entrepreneurs. The mindset here is COMPLETELY different from Europe - everything feels possible! Everything is big and it really lives up to the "supersize me" mentality. What's really struck me is how open and helpful people are. I met amazing people and some of the brightest minds in my life. The ecosystem here is incredible for pushing you forward and making connections. But let's be real - it's not just about having an idea and expecting money to rain down. There are thousands of great startups here, and you're just one of them. Investors here are bombarded with pitches daily, so you really need to stand out in the startup world here and it is not so easy as everyone imagines and I met so many startups from Europe with the same delusional "I get money quick" thinking. And something you need to understand: it's like a special dance - you need to know the steps, understand the expectations, and be ready to perform. The scale of things here is mind-blowing compared to what we consider success in Europe. I've met so many amazing entrepreneurs and attended countless events. Sometimes I feel a bit guilty about my past successes seeming small in comparison as the silicon valley exit is like 10-100x bigger than what I had, but that's the beauty of this place - it pushes you to think bigger. For my fellow European entrepreneurs, it's hard to imagine the difference in scale and mindset until you experience it. But here, I've found a place where I can truly be myself and dream big.
