I would challenge this to say, these skills have always been of importance. I believe now, teams/organizations can see/feel the impact with collaborative and effective communication is missing or lacking, therefore, making it feel more valuable. Without communication do well, teams will not succeed to the best of their ability.

Interesting point about collaboration! I'd add that clearly defined roles and responsibilities are also essential for effective cross-functional teamwork. When everyone knows their role and how it contributes to the overall goal, it streamlines communication and minimizes confusion. Can't wait to read the full report!
