💥Empowering Patients with Accessible, Daily Care💥 📱The widespread use of smartphones is driving a world where people have a health coach in their pocket for whatever chronic disease ails them. Eyecbetter is a game-changer in the glaucoma care landscape by leveraging innovation and strategic partnerships to address critical needs. In the US alone, there are over 6 million people with glaucoma, and the global number is even more staggering at over 100 million. The urgency for this transformative solution is evident by the high number of people that continue to lose vision to this day. The lack of non-invasive tonometry, inadequate patient care coordination and the alarming 16% to 70% non-adherence rate to medication regimens, highlights the pressing need for a revolutionary approach like eyecbetter’s. 📣👁️🗨️Join us in our mission to empower people with glaucoma to be active participants in their therapy and enjoy a lifetime of vision. 💪 A future with no limitations in healthcare is possible, NOW! 💪 😉 Imagine a future where healthcare has no limitations. What would that future look like? What if pain relief was as simple as a thought? With mind-body interfaces, individuals could harness their minds' power to manage pain and enhance healing, offering a holistic approach to wellness. What if preventative healthcare became the norm, with wearable or implantable devices continuously monitoring environmental factors? From air quality and radiation exposure to pollutant levels, these devices would provide personalised alerts and recommendations, enabling individuals to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. What if implantable medical devices could become self-sustaining by harvesting energy from the body's natural processes, such as movement or temperature changes? Personally, I am eagerly anticipating innovation in preventative healthcare. Of course, due to vastly increased life expectancy, innovation within this field will have a ripple effect in many other industries. Feel free to share your wish list for healthcare innovation in the comments. #HealthcareInnovation #LifeExpectancy #FutureOfHealthcare

🔔 What if a simple device could save your life? 🔔 Diagnostic devices are changing the game in healthcare, making it easier to catch problems early and keep us healthy. Here’s how they’re making a real impact: 🧠 Imaging Systems: MRI, CT scans, and X-rays help doctors see inside the body with incredible detail, spotting issues that we can’t see from the outside. ⚡ Electrodiagnostic Devices: Whether it's your heart, brain, or muscles, devices like ECGs, EEGs, and EMGs measure electrical activity and detect problems before they get worse. 🩸 Blood Analyzers: These devices are quick to measure important things like glucose and electrolytes, giving doctors the information they need to act fast. ⌚ Wearable Health Monitors: Continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and Holter monitors track your vitals 24/7, helping you stay in control of your health and giving your doctor the data to support you. #biomedical #Healthcare #MedicalDevices #HealthTech #DiagnosticsThatMatter

𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 Scientists from the University of California, San Diego, have unveiled an innovative device - a smart armband. It provides continuous health monitoring using sweat as a source of energy. The wristband fits snugly on the finger and uses natural sweat to generate electricity. Special bioelectric cells located in the skin contact area convert the chemicals in the sweat into electricity. The resulting energy is stored in stretchable batteries and powers sensors that measure indicators such as glucose levels, vitamin C, lactate and levodopa. The development transmits data via Bluetooth to a special app, allowing users to continuously monitor their health even while resting or sleeping. In the future, the researchers want to refine the device and create a closed-loop system that can not only track health indicators, but also prescribe treatment based on the collected data. #archtown #medicine #innovations

Hearing about the positive impact Modus Health StepWatch is having on clinicians and patients is incredibly rewarding. Keep reading for Mina and Steve's full testimony using our clinical care software with StepWatch. They are clinical champions working hard to improve care. The uphill climb to change the standard of care is intense, but they are tackling it successfully. Keep it up! "We’ve been using Modus StepWatch for over a year now, and it has been a game-changer in many ways. Being able to see exactly how many steps a patient is taking—rather than just guessing—has made it so much easier to track their progress and know we’re on the right track. The StepWatch reliably tracks steps, even for patients with slow walking speeds or significant gait impairments, and it’s been a great way to keep patients engaged in their rehab. They love hearing how many steps they’ve taken, and it adds a motivating element to their recovery. It gives real-time insights, both during therapy sessions and outside of them, which helps us adjust care and track progress more effectively. The device is reliable, easy to use, and backed by excellent support from Modus. A special shoutout to Teri, who has been fantastic to work with from the very beginning!! It’s a valuable tool for tracking progress, setting patient goals and keeping patients motivated. We highly recommend it for any clinician looking to add wearable sensors to their rehab toolkit." Thank you, Mina and Steve! #Healthcare #PatientCare #Wearables #StepWatch

In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, technology plays a critical role in diabetes management. However, many patients are facing challenges with connecting and utilizing these devices effectively. When it comes to diabetes devices specifically, here's what our team has found: 1️⃣ Technical Hurdles: Many patients, especially older adults, struggle with connecting their devices to apps. Even simple tasks like Bluetooth pairing can be overwhelming, and busy doctors’ offices often lack the time or resources to help. 2️⃣ Confusing Instructions: Complex instructions for device setup can trip up even tech-savvy users. Issues like using different logins for multiple apps can disrupt data sharing, leading to frustration and disengagement. 3️⃣ Overburdened Healthcare Providers: Patients often rely on doctors to troubleshoot device issues, but short appointments make this impractical. This lack of support can delay critical care decisions. These challenges highlight the need for more user-friendly technology and better support.
