Posted our project for Yakimo restaurant on Instagram ✨✨✨ Yakimo Sushi Bar Restaurant: Feng Shui means "the way of wind and water" and involves arranging buildings, objects, and spaces in a certain way, without obstacles, to achieve a smooth flow of energy, harmony, and balance. At Yakimo, architecture is born from this pursuit. The five elements are interpreted in the design: 1.Earth, represented by the choice of rustic floors—poured cement and terrazzo; 2.Fire, reflected in the kitchen's location and the red accents that frame it; 3.Water, captured in the reflection of mirrors; 4. & 5. Wood and Metal, as seen in the predominant architectural materials. The elements and architecture interact, establishing Feng Shui through their dialogue. https://lnkd.in/ez-XRK3e

Design is one of our core pillars at Lodgeur. Our design principles are that our interiors should be stylish, comfortable, and practical. Our proprietary research shows that interior design is the # 1 driver of a guest's marginal willingness to pay. But with an average of 150 purchasing decisions on a typical one-bedroom apartment, we have to balance maximizing bookings and our guests' enjoyment of the space, while delivering a strong ROI on our investment. To me, great design doesn't just look good, but it's comfortable. And it has to be practical and effortless for the guest. It's small things like having somewhere to charge your cell phone when you sit down or by the bed. We've banished the hotel room staples such as alarm clocks and telephones, and instead have things like white noise machines and air fryers. Fernão Magalhães 127 Branding for AVENUE Real Estate Avenue is creating a new living, working, and leisure landmark in 127 Fernão Magalhães Avenue. A new address located in the East side of Oporto that is undergoing a process of regeneration and expansion – an urban rebirth of a forgotten place that is bringing life to the whole area. We are hoisting the sails of this new place to present a new way of living Oporto. Inspired by the natural upward and downward movement of sails and scales, we created a visual universe in motion, representing what it will be like to live, work, or just hang out in Fernão Magalhães 127 – a mixed-use project that can become whatever we want it to be. The identity also references the architectonic object – mainly, by its straight lines – to give a glimpse of the project’s potential, and the mesmerizing and subtle swings of this place. At the same time, because it is such a long wordmark imitating architecture, it becomes strange but interesting to see, with a great artistic applicability despite the rigid codes. The way we arrange all the letters creates an urban mesh that inspired us to create outdoor furniture, including an entrance gate. Atelier House Tahi stands as a testament to the seamless integration of living and creative spaces, redefining the conventional boundaries between home and studio. Designed by BIVAK Studio, this architecturally stunning structure in Hungary exemplifies functional minimalist design, offering a unique environment tailored for an artist couple—a photographer and a textile artist. Spanning 30 meters in length and 4.5 meters across, the building features a striking 7.5-meter high studio space, carefully crafted to meet the distinct needs of its occupants. The layout cleverly positions living areas at both ends, while the central studio fosters connectivity with the lush garden through terraces and strategically placed openings. The designers have harnessed a minimalist aesthetic that not only promotes tranquility but also accommodates the creativity and tools essential for artistic endeavors. A long basement provides ample storage for artworks and supplies, ensuring that the creative process remains unhindered. As we witness such innovative design solutions emerging from the AEC sector, it becomes imperative for professionals to stay informed about these trends. Atelier House Tahi encapsulates the evolving narrative of spatial dynamics within architectural practice, establishing a model for future residential and workspaces.
