Understanding the components apprenticeship sponsors and employer partners need to consider to ensure the long-term sustainability of their program is critical. We knew when we approached a webinar on this topic that an interactive evaluation tool to help apprenticeship providers evaluate their own programs needed to be on the agenda. The tools that evolved provide important context and a user-friendly approach to self evaluation. Looking forward to using these tools with our apprenticeship partners.

While their recommendations are focused on transportation, they apply broadly to infrastructure jobs (and all jobs, in general, where employers are looking to create more inclusive, accessible career pathways)! There are well-established, evidence-backed models for expanding economic opportunity. Now we just need to make a firm commitment to putting those models into practice! These are the types of interventions that will enable the climate transition to be a just economic transition as well.
