The Cyber Security Breaches Survey serves as a key tool for shaping government policies regarding cybersecurity With a focus on enhancing the security of the UK's digital landscape for businesses. According to the latest survey released by the government on Tuesday, it reveals the % of organisations that have engaged in specific activities aimed at identifying cyber threats over the past year. Notably, deploying security monitoring tools and conducting risk assessments emerge as the most prevalent actions taken by both businesses and charities, although there's a notable difference in the adoption of monitoring tools, with businesses leading the way. #cyberbreachessurvey

There are all sorts of ways that an organisation can be breached that aren't limited to technical IT breaches, so how are you going to deal with that and manage that as part of a process?" In this call, we invite applications for £5K projects that aim to understand the place and role of #CyBOK in countries other than the UK. Applications are invited from academic partners who are based outside of the UK to explore the usage of CyBOK: Cyber Security Body of Knowledge for any known use cases (e.g., curriculum design, degree certification, skills mapping etc.) or new use cases. It is anticipated that international applicants will conduct a qualitative study engaging with the relevant communities of cyber security educators, practitioners, professional societies and certification bodies to assess the level of #CyBOK adoption, the #challenges of CyBOK adoption and #future steps for improving the CyBOK usage in their geographical region and/or country.
