🍃 It's 'Clean Air Day' this week (https://lnkd.in/eJ4QM7Zr) and we're taking a closer look at the air pollution experienced by aviation workers. 👉 This recent study found that on days with high aviation-related 'ultrafine particulates' (UFP) emissions, children living in close-proximity to Amsterdam airport experienced substantially more respiratory symptoms and used more symptom-relieving medication, such as inhalers: https://lnkd.in/eXrCDZft 👷♀️ We're particularly interested in this, as aviation workers (particularly ground crew and flight crew) who regularly work in and around aircraft are the most exposed to this air pollution and will be most at risk.
