Why I Jumped into Customer Service I know, I know - customer service isn’t the first field people think of when they hear “thrilling career choice.” But hear me out. There's something about helping a frustrated customer go from “I need to speak to your manager!” to “Thank you so much!” that feels like winning a mini-Oscar.😊 Plus, who doesn’t love the flexibility of remote work? I get to solve problems from the comfort of my own home (and yes, sometimes in my pajamas - don’t judge). At the end of the day, I’m here because I genuinely love helping others and turning a rough experience into a positive one. If you’ve had a memorable customer service experience, tell me about it in the comments! What made it stand out? 👇 #CustomerService #ProblemSolving #HelpingPeople #RemoteLife #CustomerSuccess

Celebrating 3 Years in Customer Support! Three years ago (17th May, 2021), I embarked on my journey in customer support! It definitely hasn't been all smooth sailing. There have been challenging customers, complex issues, and moments of feeling overwhelmed. But through it all, I've grown so much, both personally and professionally. Customer support is more than just resolving tickets. It's about building relationships, advocating for customers, and being a champion for their needs. --- Why Customer Support Rocks Customer support is often underestimated as a career path. But the truth is, it's a challenging and rewarding field that can teach you a lot about yourself and others. Here are just a few of the things I've learned in my three years: 💡Communication: Customer support is all about communication. You need to be able to listen attentively, explain complex issues clearly, and adapt your communication style to different audiences. 💡Problem-solving: You'll be faced with a wide variety of customer problems, from simple technical issues to complex interpersonal conflicts. Learning to think creatively and find solutions that work for everyone is a valuable skill that will serve you well in any career. 💡Patience: Let's be honest, some customer interactions can be trying. But learning to stay patient and professional under pressure is a valuable skill that will help you in all areas of life. 💡Empathy: Customer support is all about understanding the customer's perspective and working to resolve their issue. This requires a great deal of empathy and emotional intelligence. If you're considering a career in customer support, I say go for it! It's a rewarding path that will teach you valuable skills and help you connect with people on a deeper level. Lastly, I sincerely hope that customer support professionals will be treated better, paid better and appreciated for the work we do. In my opinion, "we get less than we deserve." #customersupport #career #milestone #growth #banking #fintech #productmanagement

Ever find yourself saying, 'Is there anything else I can help you with?'... and regretting it immediately? I remember one time, I asked that exact question to a customer after solving an issue that had taken far longer than expected. The customer paused... then casually said, "Yes, I need help with my other 5 questions!" Ehh! I internally screamed while still maintaining my calm, friendly demeanor.😅 However, in that moment I learned two things: 1. Never underestimate a customer’s enthusiasm for help. 2. Staying calm, professional, and resourceful is a skill you master one unexpected question at a time! It’s moments like these that remind me why customer service is such a human-centered job. The unpredictability, the humor, and the ability to turn even a tough day into something memorable is what makes this field so rewarding. What’s the most unexpected response you’ve ever gotten to a routine question? Let’s swap stories and celebrate the unpredictable world of customer service! #CustomerService #CustomerExperience #RemoteWork #JobSearch #Hiring #CareerJourney #CustomerSupport #ProfessionalGrowth #ProblemSolving #EmpathyInAction

Dear organizations, It's important to keep in mind when hiring a customer service representative, that these are the people that are going to become the voice of your business, these are the people that are going to manage those customers who keep your business alive, be aware that the last impression your customers leave your business with will determine if they are coming back or not. Who then should you work with? -Work with someone who understands the importance of this department. -Work with someone who doesn't see this as work but as a humanity service. -Work with someone who is very much interested in what you do or at least is willing to learn for the better service and growth of your business. Finally, Customer Service is not just another department in your organization, it is one of the core department in your organization. #customerservice #professionals #Wednesday #service.
