And I think that all of the below is important: ☑ Personal brand ☑ Public image ☑ Saying the right thing ☑ Knowing the right people But I don't think it can be more important than: ✅ Being your true self ✅ Not following every single trend ✅ Showing kindness to others ✅ Giving more than we receive I think we can get the two groups confused and sacrifice the second one for the first one. All for the sake of keeping up appearances. And appearing to be doing the right thing. But if I can see straight through your blue steel look and how you really operate, than I know others can too. Your appearance doesn’t mean much, if you don’t back it up with what people really need. Which is genuine kindness and generous giving of ⬇ time, effort, energy, support, money and donations. This week let us all focus on the 2nd group ✅✅✅✅ That should be the foundation of our personal brand. But keep practicing those blue steel looks, just for fun! 😯

It's now officially 30 days till Christmas, and if you haven't already started budgeting and put money aside for the big day then this is your timely reminder to begin doing so. Too many people get themselves into unnecessary financial difficulty over the one big day. That includes wedding days too. I will never understand why people put themselves through such regret in financial strife for a long period of time for just 1 day. Think of it like taking a delicious drink enjoying that drink. But unfortunately not for long because that experience is tainted by the bitter after taste, which leaves a negative memory and spoils the memory of the drink. Do you think about cause-and-effect? If I do X will that equal Y .. I was never very good at algebra but I think you get the point. Think about every decision you make. Will it have a positive or negative effect in short or long-term for you and your family bank balance? As a Stress-management Coach I encourage my clients to look at the bigger picture when making small or big purchases. Often financial difficulties arise from all those little purchases that mount up. Do you think about reuse and recycle? If you have too much of the xmas decorations why not donate some to those that can't afford to but would like to when celebrating Christmas with their family so they don't feel the pressure to keep up with the Joneses. Just a thought..
