🤖 Science Club Part 1: Robotics That Sparks Dreams! As part our Science Club Program under the 3DS UDAAN CSR initiative, we had the incredible opportunity to mentor girl beneficiaries (Kishori's) from underprivileged sections of society, introducing them to the fascinating world of robotics. 🛠️ This program is all about empowering these young minds, building their confidence, and opening doors to exciting opportunities in science and technology. 🚀 This weekend’s session on Introduction to Electronics and Robotics was a perfect mix of learning, creating, and inspiring. 🌟 Parag Gore helped to explore the basics of robotics—how robots are built, how they function, and how they’re shaping industries like manufacturing, healthcare, and space exploration. 🌍 More importantly, we explored how robotics skills can lead to amazing career opportunities in design, programming, and maintenance. ⚙ The highlight of the session was the "Walky" Robot Activity. 🎉 Side by side with the students, we assembled a walking robot using DIY kits, explaining how each part works and its real-world applications. Seeing their pride and excitement as the robots came to life was an unforgettable experience! 🙌 Talking with these young students about their dreams and aspirations was equally inspiring. 💡 It’s clear that opportunities like these can spark new ambitions and reinforce the importance of education in shaping their futures. 🎓 And this is just the beginning! 🚧 In the coming weeks, we’ll explore even more exciting topics like AI 🤖, digital literacy 💻, chemistry experiments 🧪, and many interesting topics offering these bright young minds an engaging and inspiring journey. We at Symbiosis Junior College(Arts, Science & Commerce), Pune follows theme for every month’s activity celebration and this month is for theme on Viksit Bharat. This theme highlights the strides India has made in various sectors, from technology and education to healthcare and infrastructure. It underscores the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in driving economic growth and improving the quality of life for all citizens. Initiatives like Digital India, Make in India, and Start-up India have played pivotal roles in this transformation, fostering a culture of innovation and self-reliance. Great Minds Start Young: Meet Gudiya Kumari✨ Gudiya Kumari, a 9th-grade student at Hriday Narayan High School in Bihar, is an aspiring innovator with a mission. She joined the "Nurture Program: Technology and Entrepreneurship" workshop, organized by Rancho Labs and IHFC (TIH of IIT Delhi), not knowing that it would fuel her passion to create something that could change lives. "The robotics class was an incredible experience," Gudiya says in her testimonial video. "We learned so much, and it motivated me to do something meaningful, especially for girls." Inspired by the workshop, Gudiya began brainstorming ways to use technology to address a common issue among women and girls. Her idea: a portable heating device to ease menstrual cramps. "It would give girls relief, maybe not much, but a little bit of relaxation," she explains. Gudiya's story is a powerful reminder of the importance of nurturing young talent and encouraging innovative thinking. It's not just about robotics; it's about using technology to address real-world problems and improve lives. We're excited to see where Gudiya's creativity and determination will take her.
