NEWSFLASH...The #robotics market is going to continue to grow this year! I know, that's not that big of a newsflash. It's actually a "Captain Obvious" statement. However, I think the most important piece of this article comes from this little statement in the middle, “The global #cobot market is becoming more refined, as end-users seek out holistic solutions rather than purchasing large pieces of equipment.” It's not just about getting robotics into your #manufacturing or #warehouse. It's about providing a holistic solution to your operational challenges. GreyOrange can help with that! We've partnered with multiple robotics providers like Hai Robotics, Wellwit Robotics, and Mushiny Intelligence to provide robot-agnostic solutions based on specific needs. In addition, our #GreyMatter #warehouseexecutionsoftware (#WES) ties all processes within the 4 walls together for a seamless operational execution. #partnershipsmatter #roboticsautomation #warehouseautomation #solutionsprovider https://lnkd.in/ex2sPqux

🌐 5 insights into the world of robotics & automation 🌐 At PACK EXPO Jeff Burnstein, President of the A3 - Association for Advancing Automation, shared his view of the evolving role of robotics in today’s industries. Here are 5 key trends he discussed: 1️⃣ Resilience in Robotics Despite a 30% dip in robotic sales in North America last year, Jeff explained that it’s less alarming than past declines due to the extraordinary growth we saw during COVID-19, driven by supply chain and workforce challenges. Industries are still pushing forward with automation, with food, consumer goods, and life sciences showing strong growth. 2️⃣ CoBots: Transforming the Workplace Collaborative robots (CoBots) are now playing essential roles that we once thought were out of reach, like welding and packaging, working directly with humans in real-time. Jeff highlighted that the use of CoBots, with their enhanced sensors and precision handling, is expanding rapidly worldwide. 3️⃣ AI-Driven Adaptability AI is transforming robotics by enabling smarter operations. From machine vision to advanced grippers, AI allows robots to “see" and handle objects with greater care. This means more adaptable solutions across industries, allowing employees to focus on tasks that are safer and more meaningful. 4️⃣ Labor Shortages Driving Demand Contrary to the fear that robots replace jobs, Jeff pointed out that automation is meeting workforce shortages in roles that are physically demanding or risky. This shift is helping companies bridge labor gaps, while creating safer, higher-paying job opportunities. 5️⃣ Humanoid Robots: Potential & Challenges While humanoid robots are gaining attention, Jeff noted that current safety concerns mean it'll be some time before they can work around people in complex settings, esspecially the home! CoBots and AI-enhanced systems, in contrast, are ready to deliver value in most industries today. #automation #manufacturing #robotics #AI #cobots #PackExpo #futureofwork
