Golf Sustainability’s Post

When Americans travel to play golf, they are more open-minded. American golfers go to their country club and demand pristine and perfect conditions. Those demands come with costs, chemicals, labor, etc. But when they play an 18-hole link in Scotland upkept by one guy and a lawn mower, they think it’s the greatest place in the world. In Ireland and the UK, many of the conditions are natural and rugged. You accept that the golf ball does what the golf ball does. Why can’t we set the same expectations beyond domestically, too? https://lnkd.in/eDe-sdzJ
