Good Morning 🌞 It is still Pollinator Week and Pollinator Month. Bountiful Gardens is doing as much as we can to educate the public to plant Native Plants here in Central NJ. Yes, we do.also sell cultivated plants which many are great for providing nectar to pollinators like lantana with butterflies, Pentas with bees, and so many more. I loved watched hummingbirds feast all over my hanging basket of the new salvia 'hummingbird falls' last night. *Please work with your local garden centers on this new demand for native plants. We were here for you when you had to have your red geraniums and English Boxwood. Don't Villianize Us Now! We are a business with bills to pay including hardworking employees keeping plants beautiful for whenever you all feel inclined to stop by. All Garden Centers want to sell you the plants you want. During Covid we couldn't keep vegetable plants in stock. Everyone had to have them. Now this year, we are all stuck with them. That trend is over. Now I am sure we will all learn that lesson and carry less of them. Let us know which plants you are looking for and give us some time to catch up. Think about it? Before you say something negative about and try to cancel that local garden center that doesn't have any native plants, ask yourself what you were buying at that garden center ten years ago? Five years ago? Now the public thinks a grower can just afford to throw away all of the Japanese maples that everyone wanted for their small yards? Do you know how long a grower has to grow some of these plants before you jumped on the bandwagon and decided they are the enemy of our ecosystem? Come on. Give us all a break and give us a minute to change our entire inventory and business model to what you want now. Bee Nice And give them the list of plants you would like to buy from them. 🤗 They want to sell you plants, trust me.

Hummingbirds play an important role in the food web, pollinating a variety of flowering plants, some of which are specifically adapted to pollination by hummingbirds. As they pollinate the native wildflowers in parks and the plants in your garden, hummingbirds also add a splash of color to our landscapes. Fun Facts About Hummingbirds: ▪️ They are the smallest migrating bird. ▪️ The name, hummingbird, comes from the humming noise their wings make as they beat so fast. ▪️ Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly backwards. ▪️ Hummingbirds have no sense of smell. ▪️ The average weight of a hummingbird is less than a nickel. #KarishmaKiri #DhilipGopalakrishnan #thek2grouprealestate #beintheknow #realestatemarket #marketupdate #housingmarket #eastside #bellevuerealestate #redmondrealestate #issaquahrealestate #sammamishrealestate #redmondrealestate #kirklandrealestate #windermere #datageeks #realestate #realtor #luxuryadvisor #WindermereYarrowBay #AllInForYou #WeAreWindermere #hummingbirds

Okay, like a Cromer fisherman back in port, I need to do some network! Namely, to fix an urgent gap in my contacts that appeared after Alex Brearley moved on from Forestry England at Santon Downham. So! I'm coming to you all in humble-bumbleness... I want to look afresh at #Thetford Forest and take a gaggle of friends and colleagues on a tour through the trees, talking about the concept of #forestvillages, as Matt Wood has done so much to popularise. Can anyone help me reach out to Forestry England at Santon Downham or High Lodge? Otherwise I'm just going to pick my favourite spot in Thetford Forest and provide tea and coffee from catering jugs on a trestle table, and ask Matt to speak to a flipchart (presuming you're still up for that, Matt!)... If we don't discuss ideas like these, we will simply get more of the same housing stock, much of which is designed as if the #climatecrisis wasn't a thing (Emma Fletcher MRICS, we discussed this at UKREiiF)!
