Can we do this with all Politicians to demonstrate how far from a democracy we really are. Most of us know that this sort of thing has always happened. It is just that it is now more apparent that this happens. It also brings into question whether MP's and Ministers actually get paid enough so that they should be barred from such 'donations'.

And they called the Tories scum. What hypocrites the lot of them

Nothing like a conflict of interest; I wonder which private health company he will end up with when he loses his position!

What baffles me is that we have allowed a system to be created where as long as the MP is open about their donations it's 'all OK and above board'. No it isn't OK, and no it isn't above board. Ban all direct political donations.

When we use the word Labour party we should be very aware of how many different parties that has been in the last 40 years. It was however formed and funded by working people and open to opinions as to who it represents today
