I didn't event it, but I live it, each and every day. What it means is simply; I got you. You may interprate it how you wish - financial hardship, loss of work, family issues, addiction. You are not alone; we all experience this things in our short lives. I think we deal with these issues more easily if we find a commonality from someone else. We have to know that WE are no alone, that WE can help each other. I had the priviledge of working with some unique warfighters during my 20-year Naval career, and I learned an incredible amount of knowledge during my four years with them...but one item stood out #oneteamonefight There was zero sense of "self"; a "team" is what accomplishes tasks and the "team" comes first. Naval News have done a great article on some current ongoing projects within BAE Systems! The company has showcased the MRSS (Multi Role Support Ship) and LSC (Littoral Strike Craft) at EuroNaval which got a lot of attention. Even our USV (Unmanned Surface Vessel) and Herne make an appearance in the video, demonstrating a truly combined effort from different sectors within BAE Systems to provide an enhanced capability to Armed Forces. I am Bowhead - Joe Kahoe In this video, Joe Kahoe, Business Development Director for UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies in Colorado Springs, talks about the work he does to develop business opportunities for the company by identifying, qualifying and capturing opportunities, then following through with winning proposals. Seriously, stop gunning for perfection, instead lead your product with conviction. You're wasting time and money 💸 💸 💸 Just had a great talk with my colleagues from Northrop Grumman, and I first of all want to state that even companies like them and Lockheed Martin are building open sourced products, and seeming truly wanting to make those taxpayer dollars work for their clients - which I'm truly surprised. However, the topic of the discussion is that we - all of us, have to expect more from our work, demand more, expect more, communicate more and most importantly assume less. If the project can't answer the main question of "WHY?" the output or product improves capabilities or saves lives and money, then it shouldn't exist or needs to get ready to change. Sure, the HIPPO still matters (that's the highest paid person's opinion), but generally they don't expect you to spend the whole budget and timeline to research every possible nook and cranny instead of actually delivering something.
