Patches for new technologies also require a testbed in a non-production environment to perform comprehensive system use case testing before the production environment can be patched.

Hello to everyone who has Cambium equipment in their network! Cambium have issued a field service bulletin FSB-9083. This FSB mentions that on April 15, 2024, Cambium will update cloud.cambiumnetworks.com to use a new Certificate Authority. This means that before that date, all affected Cambium equipment must be update to firmware at or above the level indicated in the table in the FSB. Updating the firmware automatically updates the certificates in the equipment. If your firmware is lower than the level indicated for each type of equipment in the FSB, the equipment is using the current Certificate Authority, and when the C of A is updated, those devices will no longer communicate with cnMaestro Essentials or X in the cloud. On-prem cnMaestro Essentials or X is not affected.

QRadar Proxy IBM QRadar Proxy provides communication between IBM Security QRadar Suite Software and IBM QRadar or QRadar on Cloud. This communication uses APIs to pull powerful QRadar data into the QRadar SIEM dashboards. Administrators use QRadar Proxy to enter connection settings that enable communication between QRadar Suite Software and QRadar. Then, both administrative and non-administrative users can enter their own authentication token so that they can access QRadar content in their QRadar SIEM dashboard widgets.

For applications that require the load balancer to authenticate the identity of clients that connect to it, regional external Application Load Balancer, regional internal Application Load Balancer, and cross-region internal Application Load Balancer support mutual TLS (mTLS). With mTLS, the load balancer requests that the client send a certificate to authenticate itself during the TLS handshake with the load balancer. You can configure a trust store that the load balancer uses to validate the client certificate's chain of trust.
