As I mentioned in a previous post, think of gaming inventory like buying any other format in any other media. 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙪𝙢𝙨. Take PC gaming and a company like Overwolf. This audience profile may not have the same scale as mobile gaming, it is still huge though and these gamers (I refer to as gamers because statistically they spend more on equipment and greater amounts of time in front of the screen) have large disposable income. You can run a video format much like a CTV ad across their 50" screen with full attention and sound on plus the ability to click the ad. Now doesn't that sound like having your cake and eating it? Or a company like DIVISION that is connecting YouTube Gaming streamers with brands without the need for traditional influencer agreements but on a CPM basis so it fits what buyers need not what the platform wants.
