It's Dementia Action Week 💙 The event aims to raise awareness about the condition and “act on dementia.” The Alzheimer’s Society campaign wants to encourage people to seek help and advice if they experience symptoms of dementia - and not to underestimate the symptoms. Memory loss is often an ignored symptom and perceived as a normal effect of ageing. This could prevent you from taking preventive actions and miss the opportunity to improve symptoms and slow down the dementia progression. The Alzheimer's Society has put together a checklist of 20 questions about possible symptoms or behaviours relating to dementia. You can find the online form here https://lnkd.in/d3mp9ETw If you have any worries related to your memory, please get advice from your GP.
