In addition to our passion for making local governments more effective and efficient, Local Government Solutions, LLC strongly believes in a concept called Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World). This is an ancient tradition that means supporting the community with acts of charity, kindness, and community and environmental healing. Because of this, LGS donates 5% of the net profits from most contracts back to the communities for whom we work. Our donations go to a 501c3 that meets the goals mentioned above and that provides services to your community. That means that 5% of our net revenue goes directly back to your jurisdiction. Not only does it help local citizens, animals, or the environment, but it keeps money within your community and helps build the local economy. This is our commitment to Tikkun Olam. If there is no 501c3 in the jurisdiction matching the description above, we look for one close-by. With that in mind, we are happy to announce that we recently finished an #EmotionalIntelligence training session for staff in the Town of Longboat Key. After the project, we donated 5% of the net revenue to a great local organization #SaveOurSeabirds. If you're in the giving mood.
