ISE was an amazing show!! It was great to meet international colleagues in-person for the first time, and also see so many US consultants and good friends in Barcelona! I love our industry! A few major trends that I noticed: 1. Sustainability in AV isn’t just being talked about, it’s happening! Nice work to the EU for leading the charge! 2. AI is being implemented in a LOT of tech! 3. The AV industry is complimenting the rise in GDP globally. 4. The anticipated 2023 recession didn’t hit as expected and there is not a recession in sight for the next few years. 5. Audio as we know it is changing. Do yourself a favor and check out Holoplot. They are attempting to solve a LOT of issues with their technology! Everything from phasing issues, language translation, stereo imaging, eSports commentary selection, etc. I expect other companies to start to compete. It’s an exciting time for audio! I especially want to thank AVIXA for the invitation to speak on 2 panels and join a segment on AVIXA TV. I appreciate the continued opportunities that you provide! What a first day at #NBForum2024! The energy was incredible with live music, co-founders Hans-Peter & Jyri hanging from the roof, Pep ”flying” in like Superman from Amsterdam, and a stunning performance from a future international singer. But still, the real showstopper was the speakers. They delivered amazing content with concrete and inspiring examples. While I don’t plan to conquer the South Pole, I now know how I might start planning it with the right mindset! I filled about 30 pages of notes today, with almost half coming from Morten Hansen. Adam Grant closed his speech with a golden nugget: 19 powerful words to say before giving feedback — “I’m giving you these comments because I have very high expectations and I believe you can meet them.” Sanna Suvanto-Harsaae reminded us about the game of business. The purpose is to do business first and foremost, but still it is to have fun. Liz Wiseman pointed out that good questions change the perspective. The example of how kids behave differently when you order them around rather than asking them questions ’what next’. The final block focusing on customer experience and success was very inspiring and even thought provoking. Amazing stories by Will Guidara and Steven Van Belleghem. The lessons are simple, but maybe not that easy to implement. Until, one really starts focusing on excelling in customer experience. What were your highlights?

POV: Art has morphed into a currency first mindset. A biproduct of the digital era, art for mass consumption. Waves of new artists come to light faster than ever before. Create the opportunity to reconnect to its soulful purpose and expound upon the core values of appreciation and mastery while connecting messages to platforms of communication. Let’s see what happens at Artlogic. What kinds of industry shifts will be highlighted .. Excited to see!

My key takeaways from Jason Bevan talk today at #kldn2024 Klaviyo London event. - We're all naturally creative. When we're younger we still think everything is possible. somewhere down the line we stop looking at possibilities and start looking at the bears on the road. Find that kid in you! - AI will bring a lot to our work but there's one thing it misses and won't have that we as humans do hsbr. We have the ability to have emotions and feelings. humans beings are not always rational we have emotions and this impacts our behavior. - We have all these rules that limit what we (can) do. Limiting beliefs. Understand what your rules are that you think By askimg the right questions you unlock creativity and inspiration. what would happen if... X Look at the rules that are holding you back and see what you can remove or overrule. - hapiness boosts creativity. - say "yes and" instead of "no but" in ideation sessions this unlocks so much more and makes ideas become a collaborative idea. - by changing our environment you boost your creativity. go for a walk, a run. - get comfortable by being uncomfortable. that's when you know you're breaking rules and going off track.

Finding product-market fit is an iterative process, requiring a deep understanding of potential and target audiences, and the scope of the technology. We recently invited Bruno Zamborlin to share his experience as Founder/CEO of three groundbreaking startups in AI and human-computer interaction, and how he achieved product-market fit. Started over ten years ago, Bruno created a sensor which functioned like a speaker in reverse, trained on vibrations to identify objects and behaviours around it. Identifying which use cases had the highest impact was key to turning it into a viable business. Early models turned everyday items into musical instruments, sold as Mogees in 2014 as a plaything to kids. It subsequently underwent several iterations to find the right product pitch, each time testing the value proposition with users. This evolved into Hypersurfaces in 2017, then in 2020 as HyperSentience, as a context-awareness tool that shortens content in devices. PMF achieved: Bruno secured $8 million in funding. Bruno has since represented Italy at the Venice Biennale, and this year worked with Lynk & Co on a product launch in Milan. His video below is an inspiring example of human-centred technology. Masterclass on achieving product-market fit by Bruno Zamborlin. I first met Bruno at BMW Group, where he presented his startup, Hypersurfaces, to the digital product circle I was part of, led by Julius Teske. There, he showcased how his non-invasive technology could detect items placed inside the car, using AI models trained on vibrations. For example, locating misplaced sunglasses or position of occupants without optical sensors. That was five years ago, when AI was taking off. Although not implemented by BMW, it shows how inter-departmental roundtables can help businesses identify value-adding innovation, and the challenge decision-makers face in prioritising investment.
