Are “fake meats” good or bad for you??🫢🤯 As a vegan of 7+ years, my answer is…. It depends on these 2 things ✌️⬇️ 1. How often are you eating these “substitute” products? 2. How processed are these foods? *** I don’t like to eat these foods all the time ❌ I usually make them when I’m trying to impress non-vegans with plant based meals! 🍽️🙌 But if you are going to eat them…. I am not a Vegan; I am a healthy, whole-food, plant-based eater. I enjoy my food, feel satisfied eating it, and benefit greatly from eating the way I do. Food isn’t religion. You can go for vegan food today even if you’re eating meat on other days. Don’t restrict yourself with diet regimes, and don’t let others restrict you either. If you feel like having vegan food today, just go for it. Not sure how to respond to judgment from others? Tell them: Eating vegan one day doesn’t mean I’m vegan. The food we eat is our preference, but that preference doesn’t have to be forever. The preference can change anytime, even one meal at a time. So if you’re vegan and craving cheese, and tired of vegan cheese, go for it. Remember you’re eating for taste and experience, not for others. P.S.
