I’m excited to join the Board of Directors for Grand Slam Track, a new international track league. Founded by my good friend Michael Johnson, a former world record-holding track athlete, his idea has been years in the making. I’ve enjoyed the conversations that Michael and I have had as he’s thought through the best ways to introduce this new league to the world, as well as scale it globally. Grand Slam Track is about more than just growing the sport. It is also a way that we will uplift people and their communities, something that I care deeply about. Despite the immense amount of training they undergo, track athletes often do not get the recognition they deserve. Dear Robert, I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to share with you an exciting investment opportunity in the exotic car market that I believe could be highly profitable. As you know, I have been involved in this market for three decades now, and I have seen firsthand the potential for significant returns. Investing in exotic cars can be a lucrative endeavor, especially given the current market trends and the increasing interest in luxury and collectible vehicles. With my experience and expertise in this field, I can confidently say that it is a no-brainer to consider diversifying your investment portfolio with exotic cars. I believe that your keen eye for quality and your appreciation for fine craftsmanship make you well-suited for this type of investment. The exotic car market offers a unique opportunity to own assets that not only retain their value but also have the potential to appreciate significantly over time. I would be more than happy to provide you with more details. Thank you for considering this proposition, Robert. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this exciting investment opportunity. Please pay the athletes good salaries instead of prize money and also stock in the company.

A very interesting idea, but undoubtedly a huge undertaking with significant obstacles. With all the streaming companies competing for product, there should be international interest for this new league.

Ran track for many years and at Cornell. It remains in my heart. With the spate of new & disruptive sports partnerships and consortiums, it’s no doubt a track based one will usher in exciting ways to enjoy the sport and it’s athletes.
