Versatility - This has to be the biggest key to unlocking revenue for today's attractions. The Alnwick Garden I feel has nailed this. We've been coming to the Gardens for over 15 years now and every visit offers us something different. Even with The Liliedorei, we've been a couple of times now and each time been very different - The Halloween installation was incredible and so well thought through (and Yes - I did this time manage to sit myself in the highest cage!). I also think we saw a sneak peak of what's to come at Christmas when we next visit (exciting!) The range of things happening at the gardens is as broad as it is innovative - from Networking Breakfasts to Weddings and everything in between (and everything driving revenues). Repurposing space, creating new inventory / revenue streams, or enhancing the existing experience to drive repeat business are key to adding to the bottom line. If you're an attraction looking for ideas on how to increase revenues, without the ability to just develop your site or attraction, I suggest you connect with Lauren St Hilaire and her team at The Gardens as they've really set the bar high. On a related note, ticketing systems should promote and not limit the opportunities to increase revenues - if you're finding challenges here then drop me a line and let's chat. #ticketing #innovation #attractionsuk #northumberland #northeast #heritageattractions #halloween

Well done as well to Quarry Bank Mill (courtesy of National Trust). The Headless Horseman was a great touch to the Halloween Trail - something Ive never seen done before (and we've been to a few such walks!)

Absolutely! Being able to offer a huge range of different experiences online, without the fear of overbooking or double booking, is a must for truly maximising revenue for versatile attractions. If your ticketing / event management is fully integrated with your attraction's available resources, then this is a piece of cake. Unfortunately, very few ticketing services offer this.

💯 agree re tech providers opening up opportunities…. Many procurement processes being used in our sector don’t encourage this unfortunately. Its time to ReWork these outdated processes 😊
