When you started your business you didn't know how lonely it would feel. I know I didn't! According to this KPMG study, "54% of executive women agreed that the more successful they become, the lonelier it gets at the top because they enter new peer groups. We agree that navigating the complexities of business ownership is daunting and it can feel very lonely. 💛 You don't have to do it alone, we're here for you. That's why we created Nestwork, a women built network of ambitious women-owned businesses. It was a great opportunity to be part of We connect I learned a lot about women owned businesses. Being a woman in the construction industry is a unique experience that blends challenges with remarkable opportunities. While traditionally dominated by men, the industry is gradually evolving to embrace diversity. Women bring a fresh perspective, often characterized by strong communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. The construction site can be a physically demanding environment, and women have proven their ability to excel in such settings. However, overcoming stereotypes and earning respect is a common challenge. Despite these hurdles, women in construction are making significant strides, demonstrating their competence and leadership skills. The industry benefits immensely from the diverse perspectives and skills that women bring to the table. Its essential to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment for women in construction. By providing equal opportunities, mentorship programs and addressing gender biases, the industry can harness the full of its female workforce. #WomenInBusiness #Womeninconstruction #MakeAnImpact

We had 193% growth in 2 years! 🎉 According to Inc. Magazine, Full Swing Public Relations was #20 on the list of 72 of the fastest-growing private companies in the Rocky Mountain region. What a wild ride these first 5 years in business have been! Can't wait to see what we do with the next five years, Caitlin Copple! We are proud to be a woman-owned and LGBTQ-owned company that has decided to scale. Only 2% of women-owned businesses ever reach seven figures, and we hope our story shows more entrepreneurs who don’t fit the mold that they can do it too! (Even with young kids in tow!) The average growth rate of companies on the list was 122%. Collectively, we added 3,838 jobs and $1.7 billion to the region’s economy in 2023. Full Swing surpassed $1 million in annual revenue during our third year in business, 2021.

I am in awe of the female founders in the Wild Founders! unNetworking community. For some, the non-traditional format of the morning combined with getting outdoors is outside their comfort zone. For others, it’s the wholehearted listening activity half-way through where the invitation is to be present and listen in pairs without giving advice or fixing. For others, it’s the movement and simple and fun games designed to ignite creativity and build trust and connection quickly. For others, it’s the storytelling, poetry and song that awaken the imagination and help the brain to gain new insights and understanding. It takes courage to try new things, experiment, risk being crap at something, and discover your growth edges as a leader and business owner. All qualities which will enable you to access your best ideas and solutions, and help you cultivate the confidence, resilience and authenticity to stay true to who you are at your core. Even if you’re a solo entrepreneur, you’re role modelling and leading by example. Especially if you’re someone who likes to challenge, disrupt or think outside the box. Wild Founders! unNetworking not only helps you to build your web of support and grow your network of referrals, it gives you clarity and focus going into your working week. Plus! The glow you can only get from getting outdoors with awesome women with vision ✨ Our next gathering is Monday 29 April, Mendip Hills AONB, nr Bristol and Bath. Over 80% sold out, just a few spaces left. Link in comments. #WildFounders #WildLeadership #FemaleFounders #Flourish #Thrive #FuturePositive
