This week in London at Loughborough University took place the "Train the Trainers" event for the Electricity Transition Playbook. I cannot thank enough Jairo Quiros-Tortos and Marcus Stewart for giving me the opportunity to take part into this workshop as Latin America representative. This has been an amazing chance to provide inputs and improve the methodology to deliver this course and foster the low-emissions transition around the world. A huge thank you as well to the Green Grids Initiative (GGI) and Climate Compatible Growth #CCG for making this possible. I am already looking forward to the next steps.
CCG continues building capacity to deliver the electricity ⚡ transition in countries across the global south 🌍. We held our Electricity Transition Playbook 📓 Train-the-Trainer event this week (16-18 December) at Loughborough University, home of STEER from which CCG is managed. We welcomed future ETP trainers from Asia, Africa, Latin America, Europe and USA. Our ETP leads, Jairo Quiros-Tortos and Marcus Stewart, ensured that our next ETP trainers received the 🛠️ tools they will need to build more capacity worldwide.
