To me, language is the key to open door of another world. It gives us access to new culture, knowledge and opportunities. From my personal experience of living in Japan more than 15 years, I can say that the single most important skill I have is being a bilingual (well, actually trilingual - Bangla, English and Japanese). Though I was an IT engineer, fluency in Japanese helped me to easily connect with business people, understand their requirements and have additional roles which would not have been possible if my Japanese skill was limited. There are many skilled foreign professionals in Japan, and to support them for their future career growth and opportunities - we are developing an online Japanese learning platform, where users can easily learn and improve their Japanese language without going to a Japanese language school. Japanese language schools are not cheap and and on average it costs 600~800 thousands JPY to get admitted in a Japanese school. Through our platform, we are planning to save that amount of money for our users, and give them more flexibility to learn and practice Japanese anytime without the need of being in a classroom.
